The Role:
We are currently seeking Supply Teachers for short-term and long-term assignments across primary, SEN and secondary schools. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, maintaining classroom management, and ensuring that all students continue to learn and progress.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans or create engaging lessons where necessary.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and work collaboratively with school staff.
- Follow the schools policies and procedures to ensure consistency in the learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils in your care, adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
What We Are Looking For in a Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning environments.
- Flexibility and availability for both short-term and long-term assignments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and supporting students in their educational journey.
- Recent experience working in a UK primary or secondary school is an advantage but not essential.
