Maintenance Officer

Maintenance Officer required immediately to work with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This is a temporary post initially for 4 months with the possibility of extension and will be based in Enniskillen. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £12.38 per hour. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Access NI check. The post holder will coordinate and carry out repairs, maintenance, improvement works and inspections to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of working areas. Duties will include; Work as part of a team alongside Patch and lettings Managers Communicate effectively with Housing Executive customers and partners. Carry out work to exact costing and price ranges. Authorise payment for works in line with cost and delegated authority limits. Meet with clients to understand their needs and resolve any issues they might have. Working closely with delivery partners such as heating inspectors, Engineers, and ground maintenance to ensure effective standards for customers are met. Investigate queries from Regional services teams when required. What We Need From You Relevant qualification related to the vacancy Experience working in a similar role Possess a current clean driving licence.
