Service Care Legal are working on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis. Role: Planning Lawyer Location: North West London Salary: £48,116 to £52,116 per annum We are seeking a Planning Lawyer to join our legal team, providing expert legal advice on Planning, Regeneration, and Highways matters. Job Purpose: Support the management of the legal department. Provide high-level, proactive legal advice to the Council, its members, and officers. Serve as a key contact for senior officers and members regarding legal issues in Planning, Regeneration, and Highways.Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX. Knowledge & Experience: Significant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in planning law. Strong understanding of risk management in corporate governance. Well-developed expertise in planning law and local government law. Experience advising councils or boards in public meetings and reports. Knowledge of UK and EU legal trends affecting local government.
