Job Title: Senior Reconciliation Agent Company: Coop (Manchester - 1 Angel Square) Recruitment Agency: Rullion Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reconciliation Agent to join our dynamic team at Coop's Manchester office located in 1 Angel Square. As a Senior Reconciliation Agent, you will be responsible for bank reconciliation, processing unreconciled lines, conducting query investigations, and utilizing spreadsheets proficiently. Your role will also involve organizing batches of work, tracking work completion, generating statistics and reports, and participating in meetings to provide updates on reconciliation progress, issues, and proposed improvements. Key Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently. Process unreconciled lines promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Investigate queries effectively to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Utilize spreadsheets extensively, including lookups and conditional formulas, for data analysis and reporting purposes. Organize batches of work efficiently, prioritizing tasks as needed. Track the completion of work and ensure deadlines are met. Generate statistics and reports to provide insights into reconciliation activities. Work at a fast pace while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Operate multiple systems simultaneously, handling mass data efficiently. Attend meetings and provide updates on reconciliation progress, issues, and proposed improvements. Requirements: Proven experience in bank reconciliation and query investigation. Proficiency in spreadsheet software, including advanced functions like lookups and conditional formulas. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage batches of work effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with large volumes of data. Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience in producing statistics and reports to support reconciliation activities. Familiarity with using multiple systems concurrently for data handling. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for providing updates and insights in meetings. Proactive attitude towards identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
