Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Belvedere, Erith Salary: £12.50 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm Job Responsibilities: * Complete shipments by processing and loading orders. * Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and placing orders in the delivery area. * Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment (MHE) to transport materials safely. * Conduct daily checks on MHE and report any damages using agreed formats. * Adhere to all health and safety (H&S) regulations and company policies. * Maintain cleanliness in work areas by following housekeeping procedures and properly disposing of discarded packaging. * Ensure quality service by following organizational standards. * Enter necessary information into picking sheets or reports accurately. * Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as required. Qualifications / Skills: * Teamwork and coordination * Planning and time management * Reporting skills * Inventory control and equipment maintenance * Dependability Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: * Knowledge of health and safety protocols * Forklift certification (counterbalance and reach required). However, if a candidate only holds a counterbalance license, we can arrange training for reach later if selected. * No in-house licenses will be accepted. * Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment (preferred)
