Position: Maintenance Joiner Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £35,000 + Overtime + Benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional on-call rotation About the Role: Our client, a leader in the facilities management sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Joiner to join their team. In this role, you’ll work across various commercial and industrial sites, ensuring the quality upkeep and repair of woodwork and joinery within client buildings. About the Client: Our client provides comprehensive facilities management services to a wide range of prestigious clients, known for their commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, efficiency, and top-tier service delivery across all aspects of building maintenance. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on woodwork, furniture, doors, and other fixtures. * Complete joinery tasks, such as fitting, repairing, and modifying doors, windows, frames, and other wooden structures. * Conduct inspections and identify areas requiring preventive maintenance. * Keep accurate records of work completed, including risk assessments and maintenance logs. * Communicate effectively with clients, providing technical support and advice when required. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards on-site. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Maintenance Joiner, ideally within a facilities management setting. * NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent qualification. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. * Full UK driving license.
