Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: City of London with many accessible transport/tube links Role : Full-time permanent position Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days a week in London (further flexibility is an option for the right candidate) Salary: Very competitive plus marketing-leading benefits About the firm: A leading global law firm, located in the heart of the city, currently experiencing a period of growth. Role Overview: Reporting to the outstanding Director of Administration and serving as a key member of the friendly and supportive London HR team, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately analysing, preparing, and managing payroll for approximately 300 staff and lawyers in the London office. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the firm’s payroll company/platform to ensure monthly payroll runs smoothly and efficiently for the London office. Prepare all reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for payroll each month and ensure all data is correct before passing it over for processing. Work closely with the HR team to ensure you stay informed on compensation and benefits updates to ensure all is in line for payroll processing. Ensure monthly dedications due to certain benefits are reflected in the payroll cycle, for example, monthly gym memberships, private medical insurance deductions, cycle-to-work schemes, and pension contributions. Take full control of the payroll processing function in London while collaborating and keeping the London and US HR teams up to date. Qualifications/Requirements: Law firm experience is ideal A minimum of 3 years experience in payroll processing and reporting Possess an analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail The ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, colleagues in London as well as international employees Experience in running payroll processing for at least 250 – 300 people Application Process: For further information and to apply, please submit your resume.
