Join a leading restoration project at the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens!

Core Group is seeking experienced Mechanical Site Fitters to assist with the restoration of the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a historic site with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reinstall restored iron floor grills, gutters, walkways, windows, and more.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and according to the site-specific RAMS.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM (9.5 hours/day, with a paid morning break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Friday: 7:30 AM 1:30 PM (6 hours, no lunch break)
• Total planned weekly hours: 44 hours (Monday to Friday)

Requirements:

• CSCS Tradesman Card
• Own hand tools and PPE
• Must be clean-shaven (due to face fit requirements)
• Relevant experience in steelworks (architectural metalwork background preferred)

Pay Rate:

• £24.00
