Electronics Engineer

You will like The Electronics Engineer (Customer Support Engineer) job itself where you will have responsibility for providing support to our customers on site and remotely. More specifically: Ensure that our customers have a single point of contact for after sales support Ensure that customers are keeping all equipment operational and correctly configured Raising all faults/issues and requesting return for all faulty equipment for investigation, track all faults to conclusion Assist in the pre and post visit equipment maintenance and software configurations Record the allocation of units, helping customers to organise spare units Ad Hoc Production duties: Building/ assembling mechanical and electronic equipment, use of heat guns, crimping and soldering pins Support the production team in quality checking/testing products before dispatch You will have                   To be successful as an Electronics Engineer (Customer Support Engineer) here you will have a healthy mix of the following: Good communication skills (e.g. concise, clear, timely and appropriate media used) Knowledge and/or experience with electronics / electronic technologies (HW and SW) Understanding of Ethernet networks and fibre optic converters Some experience with design of electronics components / design engineering Can read Engineering drawings (reading of wiring schematics would be beneficial) Basic working knowledge of multimeter’s (preferably Oscilloscope) Ability to read and write detailed technical reports IT literate in Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook Be comfortable travelling to customer sites in the UK and abroad Hold a driving license and a valid passport You will get As an Electronics Engineer (Customer Support Engineer) here, you will enjoy, a competitive salary, £35K-£45K PA + Package Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:30 plus some evenings and weekends (Paid at a Premium) £300 a weekend for a full weekend at events + salary plus a day off in lieu You can apply To the Electronics Engineer (Customer Support Engineer) job by pushing the button on this job posting (recommended), or by sending CV in confidence to (url removed) UK_MS
