Finance Assistant £25,870 (pro rata £13,984)per annum Macclesfield Part Time (20 hours per week over a minimum of 4 days) Permanent Were a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5,000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the finance team for a part-time finance assistant. You will be working alongside other finance assistants to ensure that all aspects of financial transactional processes are carried out. You will be working on purchase ledger, including logging invoices in a timely manner, carrying out supplier statement reconciliations, liasing with suppliers, and providing support to internal customers. You will also be completing regular cash allocation and bank reconciliations. We can offer you: A minimum of 28 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays). A state of the art modern office with a friendly working environment Experience in purchase ledger and willingness to undertake all aspects of the accounts payable process is essential. Any experience in other transactional finance roles is desirable though not essential. You will have well developed I.T. Skills, including Microsoft Excel, and an excellent eye for detail, with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment to meet demands. Experience of using document workflow software and Open Accounts finance software is desirable but not essential.
