English Lecturer

Now seeking an English Lecturer to join on a temporary part-time basis in Warwickshire. The role An English Lecturer to join the team based in Warwick to teach a group of GCSE English re-sit students across various campuses. Hours available: Monday (09:30 - 12:45), Tuesday (09:30 - 12:45), Wednesday (13:00 - 16:15), Thursday (09:00 - 12:15 / 13:00 - 16:15) Contract Duration: ASAP - ongoing Pay rate: £25-£35 p/hr You will take responsibility for: * Supporting a group of students with their English re-sit exams. * Developing and producing relevant teaching materials and paperwork associated with the planning and assessing of the course. * Collaborating with teaching staff to enhance student engagement and adapt the curriculum. * Promoting a positive learning environment. * Tracking student progress and providing feedback. What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following: * GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English (Grade A-C or grade 2). * Previous experience of teaching relevant subject, ideally in a further education setting * Previous experience of working with vulnerable young people or young * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and organisation. * An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role.
