Job Role: Bandsaw Operative

Location: Middlesbrough

Shift: Permanent Night Shift

Salary: 12ph DOE

Metalis is working in partnership with a large specialist engineering company in Middlesbrough who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Bandsaw Operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Job Duties:

• Operation of automatic band saws.
• Maintenance of saws.
• General housekeeping in the saw shop and machine shop.
• Contribute to the safety programme as required maintaining a culture of safety first.

Job Requirements:

• Previous bandsaw operation.
• Open to new training opportunities.
• Produce work to a high quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good accuracy and attention to detail

Salary & Shift:

• Permanent night shift.
• 12ph DOE.
• 12 week temporary to permanent role.
