segment to join our team and drive the success of our Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events business. Job Overview: The
Sales Manager - MICE
will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue in the MICE segment. The role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in MICE sales within the luxury hospitality sector, a deep understanding of the Central London market, and exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Business Development:
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the MICE sector, focusing on high-profile events, conferences, and corporate gatherings. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners, and corporate partners. Act as the primary point of contact for all MICE-related inquiries and negotiations. Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies as needed. Event Planning Collaboration:
Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless coordination of all MICE activities. Provide input on event logistics, pricing, and service standards to ensure client satisfaction. Negotiation and Contracts:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms for the hotel while delivering value to the client. Manage contract execution and follow-up. Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Use insights to adjust sales tactics and strategies accordingly. Reporting and Forecasting:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets. Present performance updates to senior management and adjust strategies to meet business objectives. Networking:
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Build a strong presence within the MICE community to enhance the hotel's reputation and visibility. Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other departments, including marketing, revenue management, and operations, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in MICE sales within a luxury hotel environment in London. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent understanding of the Central London market and the luxury hospitality sector. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.
