Job Requirements / Description
Shipping Co-ordinator required for a growing business within a niche market based in South Bermondsey. This position is responsible for the efficient and cost effective handling, transport and shipping of clients’ fine art, delivering a high level of client service and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide estimates for International Road, Air and Seafreight shipments for both import and export. Coordinate International Shipments, making sure all parties are kept up to date and ensure smooth communication to partner Agents in different countries. Maintain good record keeping and ensuring Bond/TA records are kept up to date. Liaise closely with the UK Transport, Storage and Facilities Manager for all jobs where client artworks are required to be delivered to or collected from TFA storage facilities Provide an exceptional level of client service whilst meeting the time, quality and safety requirements of every job as agreed with the client and in accordance with TFA procedures. Make sure Clearance instructions, Invoices and Insurance documents are sent in a timely manner to ensure smooth running of shipments and fast payment. Keeping an eye on changes in shipments, and keeping the client informed of any changes to the costsPERSON PROFILE
Experience of International Fine Art Logistics and shipping, required Knowledge of Import/Export documentation and basic rules of shipping, required Experience of working with a variety of customers and suppliers Good understanding and knowledge of Temporary Admission, Bonded warehouse and customs regulations A strong focus on completing tasks to high quality and safety standard and seeking better ways of working Attention to detail in all aspects of the roleAmazing opportunity to join a growing and successful business for an experienced Shipping Coordinator
