About the role
This is a fast paced and ambitious team who are looking to raise the bar for research and impact communications at Breast Cancer Now. While your main focus will be on producing engaging stories about the impact of our research, you will also use your communications expertise to support the wider organisation to communicate the impact of Breast Cancer Now's support and influencing activities for a variety of external audiences. You'll oversee and coordinate the provision of captivating research and support content to support fundraising bids, proposals and updates. Acting as the main link between the research communications and the research and health PR team, you will develop inspiring, scientifically sound stories for the media, maximise our ability to respond to ad-hoc requests from journalists, and build on Breast Cancer Now's status as the go to charity for breast cancer expertise.
About you
You'll be excited about the prospect of utilising your scientific expertise and impact communications experience to bolster breast cancer research and support. You'll be comfortable in a people-facing role working across multiple teams and building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You'll be confident working autonomously, with excellent verbal and written communication skills who enjoys managing multiple diverse projects.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
