Job Title: SEN Learner Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London School Type: Primary SEND School Salary: £90 - £100 per day Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and want to make a real difference in their education? We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and dedicated SEN Learner Assistant to join the team at a primary SEND school in Wandsworth, London. Main Responsibilities: Offer tailored, one-on-one assistance to students with SEN, helping them achieve academic and personal milestones. Work alongside teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and develop strategies that meet the specific needs of each student. Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures the social and emotional well-being of students. Assist in classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students. Keep parents, guardians, and other stakeholders informed with regular updates on student progress and development.What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with SEN students is highly desirable. You should be patient, empathetic, and truly committed to supporting the needs of SEN learners. Adaptable to different teaching approaches to suit various learning styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driving license and access to a car would be beneficial due to the school's location in Wandsworth.Salary & Benefits: This role offers a competitive daily rate of £90 to £100, depending on experience and qualifications.
