Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary Kenect Recruitment are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our longstanding client based in Leicester, in the engineer industry. Shifts: Monday to Friday Shift times: Day shifts Pay rate: up to £18ph Duties Fabricate metal components according to specifications and drawings. Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools. Perform welding tasks. Utilise sheet metal and other materials effectively in fabrication processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, making necessary adjustments.Requirements Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Interested?
