The Job You’ll Do; * Creating manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD applications from engineering information provided by the design team. * Working with the Contracts & Production departments to ensure all critical manufacturing requirements are captured within the CAD drawings. * Carrying out design QA checks on manufacturing drawings. * Supporting the business with any additional CAD requirements. * To be expected to adapt to the many diverse drawing possibilities within the CAD engineer role. * To work closely with the Contracts and Production Departments. About You; * Experience of working with AutoCAD & Solidworks is essential. * Knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT systems * Ability to use one’s own initiative. * Logical and methodical approach to problem solving. * Have good written & communication skills. * Strong Team player * Experience of Revit drawing applications & RADAN CAD CAM software (desirable) * Educated to Degree level (desirable)
