Precision Cylindrical Grinder

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Precision Cylindrical Grinder to join a well known and established engineering company in Liverpool, who supports the local automotive, dock and shipping, Oil and gas, and fluid power generation sectors. The role: Working with detailed engineering drawings Rough and finish grind shafts up to 4 m in length Working with various grades of steel, stainless steel, and alloy steels on manual cylindrical grinder Requirements: Must be time-served engineer with previous experience working with steadies and grinding precision pump shafts upto 4.0m length Work from detailed engineering drawings Understand ISO 9001:2015 quality systems Previous experience with machining of exotic metals (Super duplex, duplex, 718, x 750, Hastelloy, Monel etc Experience in a previous or similar position with 2 years minimum experience Good Planning and organisational experience Attention to detail Previous experience in finish grinding mutli stage pump shaftsHours of work: Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 16.30/Fri 07.30 - 12.00 Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 with OTE £45,000 - £48,000 per annum Benefits: Company Bonus Scheme 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays Contributory Pension Training and Development opportunities
