Volantes Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting skilled Licensed Aircraft Engineers based at Farnborough.
Travelling at short notice throughout the South of England and occasionally worldwide locations.

This role will provide and perform certification of rapid response Aircraft Maintenance services from Mobile Support Units and line station facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Line Scheduled and Unscheduled/AOG service delivery/certification to exceed our client s expectations while remaining in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Working as part of a small team and individually with responsibility to co-ordinate Line and AOG events to conclusion
- Responsible for ensuring that the allocated MST vehicle is always properly provisioned, clean, and ready for service prior to leaving shift.
- Accountable for Compliance with all procedures detailed within the GAEL Maintenance Organisation Expositions (EASA/CAA)
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required
Essential
An unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 with at least one of the below type ratings:
Cessna Citation 680/680A
Bombardier Challenger 350
Bombardier BD-700 Global Express
Bombardier Challenger 604/605/650
Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300
Cessna Citation 560XLS
Embraer EMB- 135/145
As well as
- Extensive experience as a line/base certifying engineer, with experience in AOG support roles, preferably in mobile support
- Extensive aircraft maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hold a valid Passport and UK Driving Licence
- Flexible and able to travel at short notice

- Good understanding of the concepts and requirements of SMS, Quality Assurance and Audits
- Line management experience including the ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage workflow
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Ability to train and develop subordinate s skills and foster teamwork among team members
