Job Advert: Teacher for Mixed Year 5/6 Class (Maternity Cover)

Location: South Sheffield Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (January 2025 - December 2025) Salary: MPS, depending on experience

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team to cover maternity leave for a mixed Year 5/6 class starting in January 2025. This full-time role requires a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is confident, motivated, and passionate about getting the best out of upper Key Stage 2 pupils.

Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of a diverse mixed Year 5/6 class, ensuring each student reaches their potential. Work collaboratively within an inclusive, supportive school environment, aligning with the school's ethos of fostering well-rounded and resilient learners. Effectively manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning experiences. Use the school's excellent modern facilities and resources to create dynamic and engaging lessons.Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching upper Key Stage 2. Proven ability to inspire and challenge students, with a track record of promoting excellent academic and personal progress.
