Quantity Surveyor

I have been asked by my client- a specialist in the remediation of contaminated land and associated works- a Quantity Surveyor to be based on a large scheme in Barrow, Cumbria. This £16 m contract is expected to last up to 18 months and my client will be responsible for full remediation of the site, utility diversions and realignment of existing roads and demolition works. Once completed the site will be used for a residential development of a couple of hundred homes. This is a key project in the redevelopment of the Barrow area. The successful applicant will have a Quantity Surveying degree, experience of remediation/earthworks/enabling works and have a strong understanding of the management of NEC (4) contracts. The salary on offer is at a level that should attract a candidate somewhere between intermediate and senior level and there is room for negotiation to secure the right candidate with the right experience.
