Brake Press / Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press and Laser Operator to join the production team in Welwyn Garden City. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both brake press machines and CNC laser cutting machines to manufacture metal parts and components to precise specifications. This role requires the ability to interpret blueprints, set up machines, and ensure quality control throughout the production process. Brake Press Operator - Sheet Metal Position Overview Brake Press Operating Laser Operating BODOR and Mitsubishi Laser. Fabricating in a workshop environment including press brake, guillotine, and general engineering skills. Read and manufacture from detailed in house and customer drawings. Work with various materials, generally Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Brake Press Operator - Sheet Metal Position Requirements Previous sheet metal experience Previous press brake experience Must be able to problem solve and work under pressure. Good communication skills and ability to integrate into a small team. Have a good work ethic in a busy and varied workshop.
