Honeycomb Jobs is delighted to be working with our public sector client, to recruit for a temporary Community Partnership Officer based in Belfast. The Client - Our quasi-public sector client is an organisation who provides safe, effective support and care to individuals who have been affected by the Troubles. This client is one of the leading entities of the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. The Role - This credible position will be responsible for the provision of development, support and guidance to funded Community Partner organisations that deliver support and services to victims and survivors. Duties will include but will not be limited to: Work collaboratively with Community Partners, key stakeholders and the wider community and voluntary sector to encourage partnership working to develop ongoing support and services to victims and survivors. Provide support and assistance to Community Partner organisations to prepare, implement and monitor strategic and operational delivery plans in line with agreed targets set within the Terms and Conditions of their funding contract. Engage and assist in the development of outcomes focused on monitoring and evaluation systems and processes for Programmes, in order to effectively analyse the impact of the support provided to Community Partners on the health and wellbeing of victims and survivors. Supervise staff within the Programmes team, including the allocation of work and monitoring of performance. Provide formal reports to management, detailing outcomes achieved through development work with organisations delivering services. Prepare reports, attend meetings and represent the organisation in events and activities at the request of the senior management. Optimise the success of project and programme delivery plans by being responsive and solution focused. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience of programme or project experience working within the community and voluntary sector. Practical experience of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the community and voluntary sector. Experience in staff management and/or co-ordinating team activities. Practical experience developing Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and monitoring progress against key outcomes. Experience of analysing complex financial and non-financial information and producing recommendations to management. A current UK Driving License with access to a car. This will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements. Desired: Experience of working in the public and/or community and voluntary sector. Experience of working with vulnerable adults.
