Administrator (Logistics) Northampton, NN4 Permanent 08.00-16.15 Monday to Thursday, 08.00-13.45 Friday £26,000 Do you have previous administration experience and are you interested in gaining experience within logistics? Can you demonstrate your excellent planning and organisational skills? Are you a competent user of Excel and do you love learning new systems? If so, this could be an exciting challenge for you! This international firm are looking for cover in their freight team, with the addition of an Administrator who will be solely responsible for the imports coming in to the small distribution site. This role offers full training and could lead to progressing within the import/export field. Duties and responsibilities for the Administrator: Preparing customs clearance advice for freight forwarders. Checking import/export shipping documentation. Raising documentation necessary for international transportation. To respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide cost effective and efficient solutions. Booking in of deliveries Efficient and accurate administration Skills and experience required for the Administrator: Previous experience of working within transport, logistics or supply chain ideal. Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel. Ability to communicate internally at all levels. Must be flexible, organised and have the ability to work under pressure.
