Market Intelligence Manager - Government - Permanent - Remote work A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Market Intelligence Manager to join a governmentorganisation and lead on analysis of visitors and potential visitors to Britain from overseas markets. They will work closely with colleagues in the organisations overseas networks to deliver essential insights needed to ensure that the organisation understands its international markets and makes evidence-based decisions. This role sits within theorganisations Research team, reporting to the Head of Forecasting and Intelligence. Essential Requirements 1 Experience in an insight or market intelligence role, ideally in the travel/tourism sector, either agency or client side. Proven track record of managing and delivering regular market intelligence updates to meet business needs. 2 Good report writing skills. Ability to present data and write summaries and narratives in a way that is simple to interpret and inform organisational decision making 3 Able to synthesise a wide variety of data and insight sources into clear and succinct narratives that can inspire non-data teams. Good at telling the story from the data. Desirable Requirements 1 Experience within the public sector. 2 Line management experience. 3 Experience of using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software package. 4 Experience of data visualisation software such as PowerBI.
