Paralegal

Job Title: Paralegal - Complex Law Location: Liverpool Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: £23,500 - £26,500 5% Bonus on Cash Received for Claims Managed Overview: We are seeking a motivated and proactive Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to assist in a wide range of complex legal matters. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various areas of law and taking responsibility for key aspects of client cases. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with claims related to the misuse of Bounce Back Loans. Handling financial and regulatory complaints against banks and insurance institutions. Supporting claims related to professional negligence. Engaging with cases involving Japanese Knotweed disputes. Handling breach of contract matters and drafting cease-and-desist letters. Providing support with bankruptcy and insolvency cases. Liaising with clients, experts, and legal teams to ensure case progression. Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. Preparing case files for court proceedings. Managing deadlines and coordinating with senior solicitors to ensure timely resolution of cases. Skills & Experience Required: Previous paralegal experience is desirable but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A keen interest in developing a career in complex law, including exposure to financial, regulatory, and commercial disputes. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
