Finance Analyst

I am delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Analyst for a leading business based in Birmingham. Main Duties * Production of Weekly Reports – Products Sales, Customer Sales. Gaps Listing, Negative Stock Report, Goods In Report (Most are Power BI Dashboards). * Review of current suite of reports in Power BI Dashboard to ensure these remain fit for purpose and are reported accurately. * Regular review and data cleanse of ordering system to make sure that the reports remain accurate. * Data Refresh on current weekly files i.e Sales Pricing Calculator, Ops Stock adjustment Masterfile. * Review of any stock adjustments * Assist with the data migration of a new CRM system * Regular review & improvement of existing reports to help deliver efficiencies across other departments. * Maintenance of Rebate Analysis Software – Updating supplier Agreements, Brands, payment allocation and forecast reports. * Month end accounting for all rebate income and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations. Essential Requirements * Experience of working within a fast-moving environment. * Strong excel skills including Power BI, Pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs * A proactive “can-do” approach * Commercial Acumen/Experience * Comfortable discussing financial principles with non-financial staff * The ability to challenge opinions and interrogate company data * Experience in analysing large amounts of data and making recommendations following the analysis. * Demonstrable expertise in improving processes and implementing new ways of working. * Qualified or Part-Qualified (QBE) Experience PLEASE NOTE that this is an office based role Mon-Fri in Birmingham
