Job Title: Learning & Development Officer Location: Belfast Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Duration: Full Time / Permanent / Hybrid (2 days) VANRATH is partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading growing Manufacturing as they seek to add an experienced Learning & Development Officer to their growing team. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the personal and professional development of employees, ensuring that training programs are effectively delivered, evaluated, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. About You: A qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or CIPD (Level 5 minimum). At least 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development Officer or related role. Demonstrated experience in delivering and evaluating training programs. Strong communication and presentation skills. A proven ability to assess employee performance and identify learning gaps. Driving licence. What You'll Do: Design and deliver training and development programmes aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance. Evaluate training outcomes by monitoring the progress and performance of employees post-training to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions that align with organisational goals. Coach and mentor employees to support their professional growth, providing guidance on career development pathways. Maintain training records and ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and reflect current business needs. Coordinate external training and development opportunities, ensuring value for money and relevance to employee development. Develop learning resources and maintain an up-to-date library of e-learning and in-person training materials. Work closely with HR colleagues on initiatives related to on boarding, employee engagement, and wellness programmes.
