Our client an award-winning Hotel, situated in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a Pastry Chef. The hotel stands out as a leader in luxury accommodations and dining. The client is offering a salary between 32,000 - 42,000 depending on experience and hours worked with additional benefits!
What Does the Role Entail?
Step into a pivotal role as a passionate and hands-on Pastry Chef working 12 or 8-hour shifts. You'll be pivotal in the driving force of the restaurant team, ensuring operational excellence in the Client's renowned site. You'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the world of fine dining with a dedicated approach to breads, pastries and desserts. The client's Hotel restaurant is AA rosette thus the role demands creativity, precision, and leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What skills will you have?
Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role as a Pastry Chef or baker, to give you an understanding of the industry's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, you should exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to the demands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise in baked goods, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skill set, will be key to your success. A creative and innovative mindset and exceptional communication skills are qualities the client values in the ideal candidate.
