Job Title: Credit Controller
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working
Location: Dudley
About Us: We are partnering with a well-established client who is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their developed and experienced credit control team. If you have a passion for driving cash collections and building strong relationships, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Collections: Proactively pursue overdue invoices and payments through telephone and email communications to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Aged Debt: Monitor and work to reduce aged debt according to the agreed-upon strategy. Account Escalation: Identify key accounts that require escalation and communicate any risks to collections targets. Queries: Address internal and external queries regarding debt payments effectively. Payments: Ensure that payments are processed within the agreed terms, Handle customer credit card payments and ensure invoices are uploaded to customer portals. Maintain Records: Keep comprehensive records of cash collection activities, updating invoice statuses and managing payment forecasts. Build Relationships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Prepare Statements: Create and distribute monthly customer account statements. Setup Accounts: Assist with the establishment of new customer accounts and manage the coding of remittance advices.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a credit control role or similar financial position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in using accounting software A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.Benefits:
