Warehouse Operative

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for warehouse operatives to work for a global logistics company based at Heathrow Airport. The role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. Pay Rate: • £11.44 per hour (days) • £12.50 per hour (nights) PAYE Shift Start Times: 2 early and 2 late starts in a week • 5-6am - Early start x2 • 13:00pm- 16:00pm x2 • 4 on 2 off or 4 on 4 off. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure all goods loaded or unloaded match relevant paperwork. • Report any suspicious activity related to company’s freight and assets. • Store and rotate stock according to established procedures. • Report any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment and equipment. • Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods. • Adhere to operational procedures, rules, and schedules to ensure efficient operations. • Assist with warehouse inventory controls, typically using a hand-held scanner. • Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times. Requirements: • 5-year work history with references. • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (assistance provided if needed). • Cargo Operative Certificate (assistance provided if needed). • 1 year warehouse experience Application Process: Interested candidates should ensure they meet the requirements and are prepared to work various shift times.
