Due to company growth, I am seeking a Technical Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join my client in Warwick.
As the first point of customer contact, you will assist customers with the technical engine queries and parts enquiries.
You'll be part of a small friendly team, building and maintaining customer relations both in the UK and overseas.
Role: Technical Sales and Customer Support Specialist
Salary: 26,000 - 32,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract: Mon-Fri. 08:00-16:30 (Earlier start & finish available if required)
Location: Warwick
Main responsibilities of the Technical Sales and Customer Support Specialist:
- Answer inbound calls and customer emails for parts sales and technical engine enquiries.
- Provide accurate technical support to customers regarding aviation engines and parts.
- Answer basic technical queries about engine functionality and troubleshoot common issues.
- Navigate and interpret engine parts manuals to assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct components.
- Liaise with stores regarding parts.
- Acknowledging, invoicing and processing orders.
- Possibly travel overseas on business once or twice a year.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Some technical knowledge of Piston Engines (Aviation or Automotive) is ESSENTIAL. Training will be provided on specific engines.
- Ability to read and interpret engine parts manuals and technical diagrams.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- A confident, pleasant telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications & general computer literacy. Full training will be given on the company's bespoke system.
- Must be self -motivated, able to work under own initiative as well as part of the team.
- Must be extremely organised and thrive under pressure.
