Accounts Assistant FTC

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract. This role will primarily focus on addressing a backlog of accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Job Title: Accounts Assistant FTC Duration: 6-month maternity cover Location: Bracknell Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Actioning both accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices against inventory items and expensing employee claims Investigate and resolve any accounts payable related queries Checking credit notes have been received for returned stock Set up and maintain the Fixed Asset Register Maintain accurate financial records and update databases as needed Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure proper cash management Skills and Experience: AAT qualification or qualified through experience Familiarity with accounts payable processes and principles Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Microsoft Navision experience (desirable)Huntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a Recruitment Business in relation to all Temporary roles.
