Mechanical Engineer Commutable from Glasgow, Wishaw, Kilmarnock, Coatbridge, Paisley Up to £37,500 per annum + 4 Day Week + Training + Progression + Life Assurance An Excellent opportunity for an Engineer with CAD experience to join a well-established and industry leading company. This company have been established for over 200 years and due to continued growth are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team. In this varied role you will be responsible for the engineering orders and producing CAD drawings from general assemblies to detailed manufacturing drawings, providing customer sales, engineering and manufacturing support. This role would suit an Engineer with a Mechanical bias with experience in using CAD looking for a new role within a well-established company where you can progress your skills further. The Role: Duties will include but not limited to, Engineer orders to specified requirements from allocation to acceptance by the customer, produce and/or update SolidWorks 3D models/drawings, create ERP engineering information including Parts and Bill of Material details, supporting commercial, sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing documentation. 4 Day working week, 35hrs - 8:00am to 17:15pm Excellent training and development opportunities, 5/5.5% Pension, 4x Life Assurance, 28 days holiday + option to purchase additional 8 days, employee discounts The Person: HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Proficient using CAD software to create 3D models/drawings (preferably Solidworks) IT Literate (ERP systems, Microsoft Word & Excel) Reference Number.
