Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative/Shift Leader to work on a busy manufacturing line in Huddersfield HD7.

This is a permanent opportunity with the company.

Initially working the Late shift 12.00-22.00 before moving to the Early shift 5.45-14.00

Pay £13-15ph

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Working in a busy plant
• Operating machines, minimize downtime and ensure machine is cleaned
• Setting out Machines and carrying out safety checks
• Report any maintenance issues
• Ensure you are hitting production figures and meeting KPI s.
• Follow health and safety at all times

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role (2 years)

- Physically fit due to heavy lifting manual duties

- Previous experience leading a small team

Salary

Pay begins as NMW with increases in line with training and move to permanent position and shift lead.
