Job Title: Year 1 Teacher Location: Haringey Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) Sanza Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher on behalf of a supportive and community-oriented faith school in Haringey. Key Responsibilities for the Year 1 Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 1 pupils. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages pupils to develop both academically and personally. Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community to support each child's growth. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed. Participate actively in the school's vibrant community, including faith-related events and initiatives.The ideal Year 1 Teacher will: Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS1, ideally in Year 1. Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a faith school and a willingness to support the school's values. Have a passion for early years education and a strong understanding of the curriculum. Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
