On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a dedicated and successful Transport Planner to join our team at a leading bulk material supplier in Manchester. Our family-owned business, run by second and third-generation family members, is at the forefront of the industry. With a fleet of over 30 Tipper Trucks and a bustling commercial vehicle repair business, we are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to contribute to the continued success of our operations.

Job Description:

As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in the sales of aggregates, muck-away, and transport services within the bulk material side of our business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and routing between 30-35 vehicles daily on multi-drop work (average of 250 daily deliveries).
• Must have experience working in the Tipper Industry and knowledge of aggregate industry.
• Handling customer inquiries, bookings, and general office work.
• Applying knowledge of drivers' hours and basic administrative skills.
• Working Monday to Friday (08:00 to 17:00) and overtime available for Saturday mornings.
• Demonstrating excellent geographical knowledge of the North-West region.
• Utilizing Haultech transport management software (experience is preferable).
• Multitasking and working effectively under pressure.
• Taking a proactive approach towards work with a polite telephone manner.
• Collaborating as part of a team and reacting quickly to challenges that arise during the day
