Sonographer (Obs & Gynae) Band 7 - Neath Port Talbot Hospital Job Title: Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) Band 7 Band: Band 7 Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital, SA12 7BX Contract Type: Locum Salary: £44-£47 per hour About You: Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology looking for a locum role? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to support our client in delivering excellent women's health services. Key Responsibilities: Perform a comprehensive range of obstetric scans including nuchal translucency scans, anomaly scans, and growth scans. Conduct gynaecological ultrasound examinations using both trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal approaches. Utilise Doppler ultrasound techniques for assessment of blood flow, including umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment.Essential Qualifications: We are looking for an experienced Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) with: Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g., MSc/Diploma). HCPC Registration. FMF Nuchal Translucency Accreditation. Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally within the UK healthcare system.
