Senior C# Engineer - Building Wealth Management Services - up to £85,000 Salary

Work alongside technical leaders and senior management to challenge the status quo and improve software development best practice. You’re going to be joining this investment manager in their Glasgow office, where you can work up to 3 days a week from home. Your core focus will be to improve the security and vulnerability management around wealth management applications. You don’t need any prior financial experience. Reporting to a Tech Lead, you'll be a senior 'go-to' person who can work independently and autonomously within a small team. A lot of the core software engineering has been outsourced in the past and the plan is now to bring all development in-house. You’ll be a key part of this transition and you’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering to set standards and improve them across the board. You’re going to be working across the full stack but it’s most important that you have expert knowledge in C#. It's a fully serverless environment so any Cloud technologies, ideally Azure, would be beneficial. If you also have the containerisation experience with Docker or Kubernetes this would be great as the firm are migrating to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). There’s plenty to be done and the team is growing at all levels. The creation of this technical hub, working on greenfield projects should hopefully make this a perfect challenge for you.
