TIG / MIG welder Your main responsibilities and duties will include: Welding * Carry out various forms of TIG and MIG welding creating a high-quality finished product. Welding Targets * Complete daily output sheets. * Complete welding to agreed targets. Quality and Administrative Procedures * Comply with the company's quality and administrative policies and procedures with the Welding Department. Health and Safety * Comply with the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures within Production and Welding. * Clean and maintain the work area. * Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner. Who we are looking for: To succeed in this role you will need to be someone who: * Has good communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the Production line. * Is a good team player, who treats everyone with respect, and can build strong working relationships with colleagues and management. * Delivers on promises within timeframe. * Has good attention to detail and recognizes the importance of good quality workmanship. * Understands team targets and support others in achieving them. * Reports any unsafe working practices whilst promoting a safe working practice and environment. * Is eager to increase their job knowledge and develop their skills in the role. Qualifications and Experience We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience: Required: * GCSE English and Maths * Able to read, understand and fully interpret engineering drawings. * Able to demonstrate confidence and reliability in dimensions, layouts, shear and flame cutting. * Manual handling- lift products up to a maximum 25kg unaided. * Good communication. Preferred: * Experience of modern manufacturing techniques. * Recognised served engineering apprenticeship, City and Guilds or equivalent.
