Responsibilities:
Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment and plant
Responding, diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns
Manage stock of critical spare parts and re-order spare parts when required
Assist with installation of new equipment/plant
Carry out site security/yard maintenance
Maintain and monitor site effluent treatment installation
Liaise with external contractors regarding repairs/installations
Complying to the highest standards of health and safety.
Requirements / Experience:
Experience of working as an Engineer within a fast paced, manufacturing or production environment
Be multi skilled, with a recognised Engineering qualification such as ONC / HNC / HND and electrical bias
18th Edition
Knowledge of plumbing
Skilled in electrical engineering
The ability to work within a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Flexibility in respect of working shifts
Hours of work would be between Monday to Friday (weekends as required) starting 08:00 and working until 1600, with flexibility required (circa 40 hours per week).
