Key Responsibilities:
* 🧑🏫 Provide one-on-one and small group support for students, particularly those with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges.
* 🌍 Work closely with students to encourage positive engagement and social development in the classroom.
* 📝 Assist teachers in adapting lesson plans and resources to meet diverse student needs.
* 🤝 Build strong, supportive relationships with students, guiding them in areas such as emotional regulation and learning strategies.
* 📚 Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting back to teachers and SEN staff.
* 🌟 Participate in a range of school activities, helping to create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* 🎓 A recent Psychology Graduate with an interest in education, SEN, or developmental psychology.
* 🌟 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and compassionate approach.
* 💡 A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of a busy classroom.
* 🤝 An empathetic mindset and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s well-being and development.
* 🏫 Some experience working with children or young people (e.g., volunteering, mentoring) is desirable but not essential.
