Purpose:
We are looking for a Property Asset Management Surveyor to assist in the preparation, implementation, and delivery of property asset management and ESG activities within a significant investment portfolio. This role aims to protect the interests of the Group while maximising fund performance.

We are looking for a Property Asset Management Surveyor to assist in the preparation, implementation, and delivery of property asset management and ESG activities within a significant investment portfolio. This role aims to protect the interests of the Group while maximising fund performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on enhancing property fundamentals and managing risk to optimize asset management and ESG strategies.
- Plan and deliver annual business planning and reforecasting for investments, identifying strategies to maximize portfolio performance.
- Manage asset activities, including lettings, refurbishments, and lease renewals to mitigate risk and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with external property managers to maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships and ensure effective property management.
- Plan and report on ESG initiatives, aligning with Group objectives and carbon-neutral targets.
- Support the Property Investment Team with guidance on transactions to align with fund performance and risk appetite.
- Prepare portfolio reports and management information in collaboration with valuers and finance teams.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders such as agents, lawyers, and valuers to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure accurate management of property data and compliance within database systems.
- Deliver short-term projects and activities as needed.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (Essential).
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) (Essential).
- Strong experience in asset and property management, with knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
- Understanding of fund strategy and the impact of individual assets on overall performance.
- Familiarity with financial cash flow, appraisal, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage outsourced professionals and service providers.
- Highly motivated, committed, and a strong team player
