Our Client is Europe’s leading Christian Media organisation. They are currently seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Executive to join their finance team as a job share on a part-time basis. The role will be 21 hours worked across three full days Wed, Thurs and Fri’s Tasks and duties • Post purchase ledger invoices on the same day received, ensuring accurate coding and posting with full backup documentation. This includes checking costs against purchase orders. • Resolve supplier queries quickly and effectively, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring clear communication. • Prepare payment runs diligently, ensuring that staff, freelancers, and suppliers are paid promptly according to agreed terms. • Work closely with other team members to continuously improve the efficiency of the purchase ledger process. • Contribute to monthly financial reporting by providing accurate data related to accounts payable. Qualifications and experience • Proven experience of all aspects of purchase ledger. • Sound understanding of double entry and reconciliations. • Experience of importing & reconciliation to external databases. • Ability to learn new systems quickly. • Strong Excel skills. Confident in importing external data. The post-holder will work in a Christian environment. Therefore, it will be necessary for the post-holder to have respect for the Christian faith, its values and be in sympathy with our organisational aims
