Stores Operative Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Job Type: Permanent Salary: £12.00 per hour / £444 per week / £23,088 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours pw, 7.30am – 4pm with a 12.30pm finish on a Friday Benefits: Excellent benefits to include, annual pay reviews, sick pay, 33 days holiday (25 days plus 8 bank holidays), ½ day finish on Fridays, enhanced pension, life and health insurance. Working for a leading manufacturing company we are looking for a couple of additional Stores Operatives to join the team. The role will see you undertake a variety of tasks such as Goods in, putting stock away, picking stock and parts for manufacturing build, packing items ready for despatch. The role is a physical one where you will be moving a lot of materials and parts and be on your feet all day walking a lot of steps in your duties. Your day-to-day duties will include: * Receiving goods in * Booking in stock on the system * Kitting of parts and goods for manufacturing * Allocating kits to the shop floor for product builds * Receiving spare parts and finished builds an storing safely * Packing of finished builds and preparing for despatch Experience that we are looking for: * Previous working experience within a Stores, Warehouse, Picking, Packing or Despatch roles is preferred * Ability to read and work from instructions * Have excellent attention to detail * Excellent timekeeping and attendance * Can work well within a team or under your own initiative This is a brilliant role for someone to join this renowned employer who has an excellent working environment where they value their staff and the work you do for them.
