Head of Electronics

Based in London, seeking an exceptional Head of Electronics to join dynamic team and help bring groundbreaking product to market. The Role As Head of Electronics, you'll own the complete electronics development lifecycle of flagship product, from prototype refinement through to production. This includes: * PCBA layout and design * Firmware development * System integration * Team building and leadership * Manufacturing oversight Product combines sophisticated electromechanical systems including motors, valves, heaters, fans, various sensors, and WiFi connectivity. Work in a collaborative, in-office environment where flexibility and cross-functional engagement are essential. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering * 12+ years of experience in electronics development * Proven track record in consultancy, SMEs, or startup environments * Experience with: * Capacitive display integration * Product development through to production * Altium, KiCAD, VS Code, or Github * C/C++, FreeRTOS, ESP-IDF, LVGL, I2C Communication * Strong lab skills and troubleshooting abilities * Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities Preferred Experience * Background in consumer appliances involving air, heat, or water systems * Experience with IoT connected devices * Team leadership experience Offer * Competitive salary: £85,000 - £100,000 based on experience * Equity package * Relocation assistance available * Exceptional career growth opportunity * Chance to work with an experienced, passionate team * Full-time, on-site position in London Apply now
