Coded Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, particularly stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Responsibilities * Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. * Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely. * Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out fabrication tasks. * Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of products. * Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency. Requirements * Proficient in stick welding; additional welding certifications are advantageous. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. * Experience working with sheet metal and fabricating various metal structures. * Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. * Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
