The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Director, People to partner with us in building a generation-defining consumer tech company. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on such a challenging yet exciting task; a dynamic leader with a proven track record in high growth environment human resources, capable of driving organisational excellence and enhancing our employee experience across our multiple regions.
As the Senior Director, People, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, scaling the team globally, developing talent strategies to attract key talent, increase talent density, and ensuring operational efficiency within our organisation.
Nothing is in a high growth phase and this role will be critical in implementing the infrastructure for scale and supporting the business through that growth journey.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive People strategy to execute the business objectives
- Oversee global talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a robust pipeline for current and future needs
- Develop and implement talent management programs to increase talent density through employee growth, career development, and succession planning
- Champion employee engagement initiatives to create a high-performance culture embedding our values
- Implement programs and policies that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity
- Analyse people and industry data to inform decision-making and improve organisational effectiveness
- Ensure efficient and effective People Operations, including compliance, payroll, and benefits administration
- Develop and implement scalable processes and systems to support the growth and expansion of the company
- Lead and coordinate People initiatives across our key locations in London, Taipei, Shenzhen, Dubai, and Gurgaon, while supporting remote employees in Europe, South East Asia, and the US
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse People team, including Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, People Operations and Employee Experience
Requirements:
- Experience of leading HR in a fast-paced growth stage company
- Experience of building effective talent acquisition strategies and processes in a fast growing company
- Business savvy; understanding how to leverage HR as the biggest driver of commercial outcomes
- Great at thinking strategically and crafting plans, but even better at implementation
- Proven experience in a global or multi-regional organisation, preferably in the technology sector
- Passionate about fostering a positive, meritocratic, and high-performance workplace culture
