The Role
As a Claims Manager - Large Loss, you will lead a team of claims professionals, manage a diverse caseload, and oversee larger losses and contentious cases. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, deep technical knowledge in commercial transportation claims, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve claims processes.
Key Responsibilities of the Claims Manager - Large Loss:
Manage a team of motor adjusters handling multiple accounts
Oversee large losses and contentious cases
Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling
Monitor and analyse claims data to identify trends and improve processes
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues
Required knowledge and experience for the Claims Manager - Large Loss role:
Minimum of DIP CII or equivalent qualification (or working towards it)
10+ years of insurance claims management experience in multiple lines of business
5+ years of management experience, preferably in a remote environment
Proficiency with claims systems and technology
Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
